Crypto

I caught the crypto “bug” at a Halloween party in 2017. By January of 2018, I had built my first Ethereum mining rig which heated our tiny apartment through the winter.

In 2019-2020, I kept mining (mostly Ethereum), experimented with liquidity pools and learned as much as possible. Desiring to use my talents in this budding industry, I started making videos for Hatch Crypto, a crypto engineering incubator to place fresh blockchain programmers into partner crypto company jobs.

This was our group, infiltrating various SXSW 2018 meetups/parties, spreading our message of pipelining developers to fill the engineering bottleneck many crypto companies were facing at the time.

In 2021, I sold my rig, which had grown to a meager, yet proud, 10 RX570s. I experimented with various new projects and even minted my first NFT, Neon Carnival.

Since then, I’ve been mostly HODLing and learning.
